Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Since July 1983.
What is your primary product or service?
Software development consulting services. A secondary product line, "WeatherTrac"( a portable/tactical meterological imaging product), was the basis for several US military contracts during the period 1989 through 2002, and was also sold worldwide commercially, as well as to foreign military/governments. It was an interim scaled down alternative for "STT" (Small Tactical Terminal) while that program was in long term development.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I left my job as a Sr development engineer after refusing to do something I regarded as illegal/unethical, to work as an "S" Corp contractor. I earned my undergraduate B.S.E. degree at Princeton University, Magna cum laude, and my SM in ME at M.I.T., where I worked in the Gas Turbine Lab. Part of that work involved high speed transient automated DAS/testing on a transonic fan/blowdown facility, which launched my interest in challenging real time applications. I've consulted on scores of projects as an independent consultant since 1983.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I focus on real time niche applications, which range from DAS development to satellite groundstation development to video processing. Although I develop things like webservces and ASP.NET apps, they are usually auxilliary components in an ensemble solution, and I do not primarily market into the 'website developer' space.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I've been at the same office on Schantz Rd. since 1990.
Provide detailed directions to your location

What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Visa, M/C, 30 day B2B terms with established credit, (international)Letters of Credit.
Which areas do you service?
I've had customers as far away as Bangladesh (Bangladesh MoD/Navy, Dhaka, Chittagong.)
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am and have been the Principal since 1983.
What are your hours of operation?
