What is your primary product or service?
Our motto is "A Passion for God, a Mission to the World." We seek to be lovers and servants of God and to draw others to love and serve Him as well. We believe that no one can truly know God apart from Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, and is coming again.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
God called me to prepare for ministry in 1967. I have been a pastor since 1970 and the pastor of Grace Community Church since 1994. I have a BA from Moody Bible Institute, an MA from Talbot Seminary, and a PhD from Westminster Seminary.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are happy to be LIKE many other evangelical churches in the area. We believe the Bible, and we preach Christ. Like a number of other churches, we have a blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns. We differ from some of our evangelical brethren in stressing the sovereignty of God. God's sovereignty provides consolation when life is hard; it gives courage to persevere; and it stimulates evangelism of the lost.
